Filipé respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who we are
Filipé (also known as Filipeskin) is a South African skincare, haircare and wellness brand owned by Flippie Blaauw, who is responsible for your personal information. You can reach us at filipeskin3@gmail.com or on 082 309 5034.
What we collect
- Messages you send us. When you use our contact form, WhatsApp or email, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us.
- Order details. To prepare your invoice and deliver your parcel, we need your name, phone number or email address, delivery address and the products you order.
- Payment confirmation. You pay by EFT from your own bank. We only see the proof of payment you send us. We never ask for or store card details.
- Your order list on this website. Products you add to your order are saved in your own browser (local storage) so the list is still there when you come back. It is not sent to us until you choose to send it by WhatsApp or email.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
We use your information only to answer your questions, prepare invoices, process and deliver orders, provide after-sales support and, if you ask us to, let you know about new products. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the courier or delivery service that brings your parcel, our website hosting and email providers, and WhatsApp (Meta) when you choose to message us there. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own privacy terms.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies. If we add website analytics in future (such as Google Analytics) to understand which pages are useful, we will update this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes, and other messages only for as long as we need them to help you.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, including secure (https) connections on this website and limiting access to the people who need it to help you.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to us using it for marketing. Email filipeskin3@gmail.com and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
Children
Our website and products are intended for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place an order for you.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
